Full-grain leather straps:

Quality leather wears in not out, getting more supple with each ski run.The leather is stitched back to back, so there is no "rough side". Straps are then conditioned and waxed for water-proofing.

Like all quality leather, they should be reconditioned annually to maintain years of powder-chasing service. Our proprietary leather conditioner and wax formulated for snow sports is available in 4oz tins, enough for four years.

Snow Baskets and Tungsten Tips:

• 80mm snow basket from 80% post-consumer recycled plastic
• Hardened tungsten tips for strength.
• Lightweight aluminum ferrules reduce swing weight.

Cork Grips:

Combining cork and soft, pliable rubber to create the most tactile grip on the market.

Wine corks are recycled, chopped, then used in our grips. One more way to support sustainability.

Carmelized Bamboo:

A sustainable, eco-conscious alternative to factory produced aluminum and synthetic poles. Carbon footprints matter, especially in the ski industry.

Our bamboo species has thicker walls and solid nodes, which leads to stronger shafts. They are stronger than aluminum and carbon poles. We believe in our products so much that we offer a 2-year warranty on construction and a crash replacement policy.

Bambooz bamboo is harvested from a sustainable bamboo plantation. They are straightened with heat, then flame-cured to increase strength and caramelize the sugars. We finish them with a natural varnish. You can keep your poles shined up with our eco-friendly, wipe-on polish.

Etched Copper Uppers:

Etched and polished copper uppers add style and sophistication to your black diamond descents.

They will gain a gorgeous patina over the ski season. Use our polishing wipes to make them pop again. Or, let the appeal of the patina showcase their journey.

Our length calculator is designed to put your elbow just below a 90° angle—right where most skiers feel balanced.
But in the end, pole length is all about personal preference.

✅ Want a little more reach for rippin’ groomers? Size up 1–2 inches for that classic 90° feel.

✅ Skiing tight trees or the park? Some folks like going shorter.

Are your old poles the right length? - stick with what works. Grab a tape measure and check from the top of the grip
to the bottom of the tip to get the real measurement.
