Bambooz goes backcountry with our "Cold-Smoke" lineup. Built for skiers who don’t need chairlifts or velvet ropes to find the good stuff. Forged for the high country, these poles have cork wrapped shafts, larger powder baskets, and are ready to throw down in the deepest powder stashes. It ditches the internal flask to keep weight down.

Each set is made from sustainably harvested, heat-treated bamboo—stronger than aluminum by weight. Finished with full-grain waxed leather straps, cork grips and wrap, and an attitude that’s more outlaw than on-piste.

  • American-made

FAQ section

What length poles do I need?

Our length calculator is designed to put your elbow just below a 90° angle—right where most skiers feel balanced.

But in the end, pole length is all about personal preference.

✅ Want a little more reach for rippin’ groomers? Size up 1–2 inches for that classic 90° feel.

✅ Skiing tight trees or the park? Some folks like going shorter.

Are your old poles the right length? - stick with what works. Grab a tape measure and check from the top of the grip to the bottom of the tip to get the real measurement.

Pole Length Chart

Is there a right/left pole?

Yes. The copper rivet is meant to be on the left side, while the nickel rivet (the lighter colored one) is intended for the right.
